Welcome

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in Rocky Ridge Church (RRUMC).  God is doing amazing things in our lives and in the life of the church.  One of the things that is so good about Rocky Ridge is that we love God and enjoy the fellowship of one another.  It is not unusual for the congregation to hang out after our services on Wednesday night and Sunday Morning because we truly love and like to “catch up” with one another.  We invite you to be part of our worship, fellowship, ministry and mission.  Check out the rest of our website to see what God is doing through us and for us.

God’s Blessings to you!  Tam Wensil (Pastor)

Capital Campaign

Rocky Ridge United Methodist Church is in a 3-year capital campaign to eliminate building debt on our Family Life Center. The campaign, “Climb the Rock to Financial Freedom,” runs from January 2019 – December 2021. The church currently pays about $36,000 per year in mortgage costs. We started thinking, “What more could we do for God with those resources available for ministry, rather than obligated to the bank?” Members and friends of the church are making financial contributions above and beyond their “regular” contributions toward the capital campaign, making progress toward paying off the debt, and giving the church space to dream about what can be possible in the future. Throughout the church’s history, every generation has stepped up to do its part when called upon. Paying off the debt, now, is our opportunity to rise to the occasion. Whether you make a one-time gift, one that recurs monthly, all gifts make a difference to the campaign, whether large or small. Thank you for your gift, and may God bless your generosity!

Prayer (Praying God’s Promises by Max Lucado)

Lord, you are rich in mercy, love, wisdom, and grace.

You never run out of these good gifts for your children, and you gave us the greatest gift of all: Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you, God, that you have welcomed us into your family.

In Christ, I am no longer a slave to the things of this earth that will one day pass away.

I am an heir of the gifts of eternity because I am yours.

In you, I have abundance of grace, wisdom and love – the riches you provide

that fulfill every empty place in my life.

Thank you for adopting me as your child.

You have given me an inheritance, and I will live freely under the promise

of your covering and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
